This machine has everything right, paint, parts and patina! A club/racer with class. The pictures are taken off ebay last year. I believe the frame number is MN 65.9.6. Could the new owner confirm it, check that the frame size is 22.5”and contact us as there is a tiny amount of history to go with the record?
No light bracket boss so a road race frame was intended. The beginnings of added lug lining and decoration colours are here in this case blue, gold and white. I have yet to identify the nice fork crown. In the early 60s this was the kind of frame we all wanted! Nervex Pro. Braze-ons for Campagnolo levers, pump and rear brake cables, BB derailleur guide and chainstay cable stop, front changer cable stop but no bottle cage bosses. Curved seatstay bridge and Universal mod 61 brakeset. Pity we can’t see the chainstay bridge too.
Campag and Cinelli kit. Campagnolo Record Rear and front changer and levers, Gran Sport Chainset and BB, Campagnolo headset and L/F hubs, Cinelli bars and stem.
